POSSIBILITIES

BARRIERSMohandas Karamchand Gandhi (; 2 October 1869 – 30 January 1948) was the preeminent leader of Indian independence movement in British-ruled India. Employing nonviolent civil disobedience, Gandhi led India to independence and inspired movements for civil rights and freedom across the world.  The term Indian Independence Movement encompasses activities and ideas aiming to end first the company rule (East India Company), and then the rule of the British.

Mohandas Gandhi’s storied history of resistance included many stints in jail, starting with a two-month imprisonment in 1907 in South Africa, where he was working to end discrimination against Indians living there. He was arrested for urging them to ignore a law requiring Indians to be registered and fingerprinted. While in jail, Gandhi read Henry David Thoreau’s “Civil Disobedience”, which would become a major part of his philosophy upon his return to India. Back in his home country, Gandhi was put behind bars several times for his movement to end British rule. In 1922 he was tried for the last time by the British government for “bringing or attempting to excite disaffection towards His Majesty’s Government established by law in British India.” He pleaded guilty to all charges and was sentenced to six years, of which he served two before being released for an emergency appendectomy. India achieved independence on Aug. 15, 1947, five months before Gandhi was assassinated.

Gandhi preached rebellion, launched mass civil disobedience and was repeatedly jailed. When arrested, he pleaded guilty and asked for the severest punishment. In South Africa, the charge against him and his co-workers was proved by witnesses furnished by him. The horror, shame and hardship of jail life, originally a punishment allotted to criminals, scared the Indians. Gandhi removed this fear from their hearts. He was jailed eleven times. Once he was arrested three times within four days. If he had to complete all his jail terms, he would have spent 11 years and 19 days in jail. Occasionally his punishment was reduced and and he altogether spent 6 years and 10 months in prison. At the age of 39, he first entered a jail. He came out of the prison gates for the last time when he was 75.

On 14 and 15 August 1947 the Indian Independence Act was invoked.

HUMAN DEPOPULATION – UN ECO ’92 EARTH CHARTER

“The present vast overpopulation, now far beyond the world carrying capacity, cannot be answered by future reductions in the birth rate due to contraception, sterilization and abortion, but must be met in the present by the reduction of numbers presently existing. This must be done by whatever means necessary.” ~ United Nations ECO – ’92 EARTH CHARTER

POETRY THERAPY

In the Western world, poetry is a dying art form…..  As art becomes extinct or ignored, so does the civilization.  Or, at the very least, the art being created, or the absence of it, reflect the spiritual condition of the individuals in the civilization.  Personally, I have discovered that writing poetry is very therapeutic. It creates  inner peace, perspective, serenity, spiritual insights, and aesthetic reverie.

Modern “poetry” is most often expressed in the Lyrics of songs.  Have you listened to very much “popular” music lately?  In the U.S. the most popular (best selling) music is “country music”.  The lyrics to the majority of these songs are written specifically to appeal to the LOWEST common denominators of human “intelligence”:  sex, cowboys, beer, trucks, parties, and the “idealized lifestyle” of the working-class peasant, jealousy, failed romance, and, did I mention sex?  Fundamentally, modern “music” is all about making money.  Like the rest of Western “civilization”, which is an artificially created mirage, bought and paid for by NWO bankers, legislated by criminal politicians, enforced by a psychotic military-police-state, and propagandized into “popularity” by the Global Media Machine — everything is about MONEY, Power, Control and Possessions…. and did I mention sex?

There is a quiet, simple remedy for the insane, manic, soulless absurdity created by the artificial environment of television, Hollywood films and the internet.

It is a simple form of “meditation”:  Turn off the TV, turn off your cell-phone, turn ON Your Soul.  Write a poem.

If you wonder sometimes why you feel depressed, overwhelmed, stressed out, purposeless and alone, you may find Your SELF while writing a poem.

I prefer HAIKU.  How about you?

I you would like to share your poems with me, and others who read the Blog, please post them in the COMMENTS!  🙂

TESLA FREE ENERGY TOWER CONSTRUCTION PROJECT

Two Russian physicists are fundraising to realize their project for wireless energy transmission once proposed by brilliant 20th-century scientist Nikola Tesla. Solar panels and an upgraded Tesla Tower could solve global energy hunger, they say.

Leonid and Sergey Plekhanov, graduates of the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, claim they have spent years scrutinizing the Nikola Tesla’s patents and diaries and they believe that with his most ambitious project – transcontinental wireless energy transmissions – Tesla came very close to unprecedented scientific discovery that could be brought to fruition.

The enthusiasts say they need about $800,000 to reconstruct the famous Wardenclyffe Tower once created by Tesla himself to implement his ideas and find a commercial application for his ideas on long-distance wireless energy transmission.

Tesla Tower (Photo from Wikipedia.org)The Plekhanov brothers are raising money through IndieGogo kickstarter. The campaign will last until July 25. So far the project has managed to collect only 2 percent of the desired sum (about $18,000 out of the desired $800,000 as we publish this article).

According to the authors of the project, as of today all human civilization’s electric energy needs could be covered with a single installation of solar panel measured approximately 316 by 316 kilometers (100,000 square kilometers altogether) positioned in a desert somewhere near the equator.

They believe the only stumbling block to such a project is the delivery of electric energy to final consumers, as the loss of energy directly depends on the distance of transmission.

The Plekhanov brothers believe that only experimental verification of the theory could help the original idea become reality. They also say that their “creative interpretation” of the physical model proposed by Tesla has already been confirmed by “numerical simulation in Ansoft HFSS software.”

The original Wardenclyffe Tower (also dubbed the “Tesla Tower”), was constructed by Nikola Tesla in Shoreham, about 100 kilometers from New York, in 1901–17. It never became fully operational. The 57-meter-high tower was made of wood and copper and after a number of experiences to perform trans-Atlantic wireless power transmission, as well as commercial broadcasting and wireless telephony, the tower was disassembled in 1917.

Leonid and Sergey Plekhanov believe the construction of their “Planetary Energy Transmitter” would be much lighter than that of Tesla’s, decreased from over 60 to mere 2 tons – all because of the modern materials used for the framework and up-to-date conducting materials. Naturally, the installation would be equipped with advanced electronics.

“We’ve conducted the fundamental research studies, implemented the computational models and designed all the parts of the experiment. We will be able to perform energy transmission and measure the results. Will it be ‘global’ as Tesla suggested? Based on the research that we’ve already done – we believe it will be, and we going to prove it experimentally,” the scientists wrote.

The scientists are going to repeat Tesla’s experiment in the fall of 2014.
