GAIA MAI TAI RECIPE

* GAIA, meaning Earth, elated to the Avestan word gaiia ‘life;’ cf. Av. gaēθā ‘(material) world, totality of creatures’ and gaēθiia ‘belonging to/residing in the worldly/material sphere, material’; or perhaps Av, gairi ‘mountain’. Gaia is the ancestral mother of all life: the primal Mother Earth goddess. She is the immediate parent of Uranus (the sky), from whose sexual union she bore the Titans (themselves parents of many of the Olympian gods) and the Giants, and of Pontus (the sea), from whose union she bore the primordial sea gods.

Mai Tai is an alcoholic cocktail based on rum, Curaçao liqueur and lime juice, associated with Polynesian-style settings. “Maita’i” is the Tahitian word for “good”.

NOTHING MORE OR LESS

Many quantum physicists, Indian gurus, and other esoteric mystics like Star Trek HoloDeck fans, Matrix fans, and people who read some of my books, speculate that Earth in nothing more, or less, than a construct of an intergalactic police force which has been designed to appear “normal” and “nice” while, in fact it is nothing more, or less, than a prison for immortal spiritual beings who have been tricked into believing that they are biological entities who “evolved” on this tiny water-rock inside a holographically-generated illusion called “space-time”. Personally, I find the entire delusion called “life” to be nothing more, or less, than what it appears to be to me. The only choices I can see are WEIRD, STRANGE and BIZARRE. However, I prefer to dream, imagine and hope that there may be something better out there, somewhere “Over The Rainbow”, or “Down The Rabbit Hole”. If there isn’t, and I can’t create a better “Universe of My Own”, then what’s the worst thing that can happen? Dearth, Reincarnation, Life, Death, etc., etc., ad infinitum…

Nothing more, or less.
