ZATOICHI: THE BLIND SWORDSMAN

Republished by Blog Post Promoter

For anyone who loves swordplay, blood, guts, killing, slaughter, mayhem and general senseless violence, this is a film clip for you!

This epic samurai fighting scene is from the only film written, directed and starring the legendary Shintaro Katsu. One of Quentin Tarantino’s recommended martial-arts films.

Shintaro Katsu’s Zatoichi is a blood-stained, blind assassin that shows the frailties of a man trying to live up to the way of the samurai. (Tom Cruise, eat your heart out…) Don’t even TRY to count the number of guys he kills in this scene!

SHERLOCK HOLMES INVESTIGATES LIFE AFTER DEATH

Arthur Conan Doyle’s son, Adrian, is interviewed about this father’s 35 year investigation into the subject of  life after death. (1968)

“Any truth is better than indefinite doubt. It was easier to know it than to explain why I know it. If I were asked to prove that there is a life after death, I might find some difficulty in it, and yet I am quite certain of the fact.”
