SCIENCE FICTION CULT-URE

“Science fiction” is NOT “science”, but it is DEFINITELY fiction.  The problem has become that people BELIEVE what they see on film, and internet in the form of “electronic media”.  Visual effects technology has become so advanced that “virtual reality” has become “reality”.

“Belief” is the foundation of mind-control. It has always been basis of power for religions.  There have literally been THOUSANDS of “gods” and religions in written history of Earth.  Modern “Science Fiction Cult-ure” has become a new “religion”.  It is often referred to as the “new age” culture or consciousness.  Please remember that every “religion” is created by people, just like you and me.

A enormous library of books, films, videos, TV shows, etc. about extraterrestrials, time travel, black holes, and a vast array of “theoretical history” have become “mainstream media” mania since the 1960s with the introduction of Star Trek on national TV.  Since then, a vast “UFO CULT-ure” has been created by film, television and and Youtube.  The phenomena is literally “mind-boggling”.

I suggest that we not lose touch with “real reality” and allow ourselves to become overwhelmed with “virtual reality”.  Take a walk outside, go to a forest, or to the beach… make direct physical and visual contract with solid objects in nature.  Let’s get REAL about reality. Don’t get sucked in to the “religion” of Science Fiction.

Animate– adjective:   possessing or characterized by life ( from from Latin, to give life to, from anima breath, soul)

Magic — noun:   any art that invokes supernatural powers (from Old Persian maguš or sorcerer)

Possibility — noun:   a tentative theory about the natural world; a concept that is not yet verified but that if true would explain certain facts or phenomena

DOWN THE RABBIT HOLE OVER THE RAINBOW & QUANTUM LEAP

 To go “Down The Rabbit Hole“ is to enter a period of chaos or confusion.  The expression is an allusion to Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland, published in 1865.

“Over the rainbow” is a state of total, irrevocable madness or delusion.  The phrase is from the film “The Wizard of Oz“, in which Dorothy is transported into another world entirely unconnected from her reality.  The film is based on The Wonderful Wizard of Oz,an American children’s novel written by author L. Frank Baum in 1900.

A “Quantum Leap” is when you find yourself in the middle of a situation where you have no idea what is going on, but everyone else around you assumes you do.

The term “quantum leap” is a reference to the TV show of the same name where the lead character is trapped in time and travels therein by leaping into the body of someone in the past, but having no idea who he is or why he is there. In order to leave the body, the lead character must figure out what “situation/conflict” must be resolved or wrong must be righted by the host body. The people around him assume he is the person whose body he occupies, so anything he does, the people around him think it is the host body doing it.
