The desire to be liked or admired by other people is a trap.  The pain and tragedy caused by this desire for admiration or approval is painfully obvious in this  final interview with Janis Joplin recorded 4 days before her death in 1970.   Also, below, a performance of “Ball n Chain” by Janis Joplin.

(Janis Lyn Joplin — January 19, 1943 – October 4, 1970 — was an American singer-songwriter who first rose to prominence in the late 1960s as the lead singer of the psychedelic-acid rock band Big Brother and the Holding Company. She was one of the more popular acts at the Monterey Pop Festival and later became one of the major attractions to the Woodstock festival. Popular songs from her four-year solo career include “Down on Me”, “Summertime”, “Piece of My Heart”, “Ball ‘n’ Chain”, “Maybe”, “To Love Somebody”, “Kozmic Blues”, “Work Me, Lord”, “Cry Baby”, “Mercedes Benz”, and her only number one hit, “Me and Bobby McGee”. )

 “The actual history of Earth is very bizarre. It is so nonsensical that is it is incredible to anyone on Earth who attempts to investigate it. A myriad of vital information is missing from it. A huge conglomeration of non sequitur relics and mythology has been arbitrarily introduced into it. These factors, combined with amnesia and post-hypnotic suggestions, false facades and covert manipulation make a reconstruction of the factual origins and history of Earth civilizations virtually indecipherable. ALIEN INTERVIEW AUDIOBOOKThese are some of the dates and events that are not mentioned in Earth history textbooks. These dates are significant because they provide some information concerning the influences of the “Old Empire” and of The Domain on Earth.

Although I have attended several briefings by our mission control personnel on the general background of Earth within the past few hundred years, I will rely principally on data gathered from records captured after our invasion of the “Old Empire” planetary headquarters. Since that time The Domain Expeditionary Force has tracked the general progress of events on Earth.

Although The Domain has no interest in Earth, per se, or in the population of IS-BEs on this planet, it does serve our interests to ensure that the resources of Earth are not destroyed or spoiled.              Our thoughts and conjectures about life and the universe are often based on assumptions, unproven theories, hearsay, rumors and misinformation.  Decisions we make in life may be based on ancient attitudes and archaic practices.  Marketing spin replaces honesty when the financial, political or religious vested interest of wizards and witches are more important than freedom, sanity and survival.

             There are 12 common denominators that  prevent observation, understanding, and workable solutions to problems of existence.  How do each of these “Oz Factors” influence our history, science, philosophy, our lives and our future?   We can chose our own Yellow Brick Road.  We can pull back the curtain of rhetoric and dogma.  We can  build a better Emerald City for ourselves and our children.
