ORIGIN OF LIFE

protoplasmic pulsationThe word “protoplasm” comes from the Greek protos for first, and plasma for “thing formed”.

It was first used in 1846 by Hugo von Mohl to describe the “tough, slimy, granular, semi-fluid” substance within plant cells, to distinguish this from the cell wall, cell nucleus and the cell sap within the vacuole. Later, J. E. Purkinje coined the term for cytoplasm and nucleoplasm in animal cell. Thomas Huxley later referred to it as the “physical basis of life” and considered that the property of life resulted from the distribution of molecules within this substance. Its composition, however, was mysterious and there was much controversy over what sort of substance it was. By the time Huxley wrote, a long-standing debate was largely settled over the fundamental unit of life: was it the cell or was it protoplasm?

By the late 1860s, the debate was largely settled in favor of protoplasm. The cell was a container for protoplasm, the fundamental and universal material substance of life. Huxley’s principal contribution was to establish protoplasm as incompatible with a vitalistic theory of life.

Attempts to investigate the origin of life through the creation of synthetic “protoplasm” in the laboratory were not successful.

Second : Minute : Hour; Day / Month / Year
Sequential time and date convergence, smallest to largest increments.

A similar sequence occurred at 8:09:10 on November 12 2013, but this one rocks. Unless I’m missing something, we’ll have no more great time/date convergences for a very long time.

Adding the numbers and dividing by 21 (the number of the current Century for those of you not keeping track) results in the Number 3, the minimum number of points to describe a circle, a plane and a non-collapsible polygon; the noblest of all digits according to Pythagoras and one of only 9 Heegner Numbers, the Atomic Number of Lithium (3rd in line after Hydrogen and Helium), the number of physical dimensions we’re able to sense,  and it’s also a crowd.

REINCARNATION STATISTICS

Republished by Blog Post Promoter

Human beings are essentially immortal spiritual beings who inhabit fragile biological bodies that live for an average of about 60 years, after which time the being is “reincarnated” (recycled) into a new body to begin a new “lifetime”.  So, how many “lifetimes” might a being have on Earth?  Here are a few interesting statistics based on information in the following website:
Assuming that we start counting from about 50,000 B.C., the time when modern Homo sapiens appeared on the earth, it has been estimated that a total of approximately 106 billion human beings have been born, making the population currently alive roughly 6% of all people who have ever lived on planet Earth.
Current human population is about 7.7 billion.  The North American population is only about 5% of the total…. (Sorry, USA/Canada, in spite of your enormous egocentric self-importance, you are NOT the center of the universe, or even the planet.)
With the current Rate of Birth, (see graphic above) from a reincarnation perspective, the odds of being born into a new baby body in North America are about 95 TO ONE AGAINST.  Your odds of being born in Asia or Africa are 7 in 10.  (this might be a good time to start learning to speak Chinese or Hindi, or one of HUNDREDS of other languages spoken by “minorities”.  🙂
