Whether the extinction of the human species will be self-inflicted, or executed by extraterrestrials, it seems inevitable — as long as we continue our current course of insane, maniacal behavior. Human beings have destroyed most of the forests and thousands of species of life. We are busily ruining the oceans, the air, and despoiling the land masses. If you were an alien, wouldn’t you think it’s a good idea to get rid of humanity before it destroys the entire Earth?
Armageddon (from Ancient Greek: Ἁρμαγεδών Harmagedōn, Late Latin: Armagedōn) is, according to the Bible, the site of a battle during the end times, variously interpreted as either a literal or symbolic location. The term is also used in a generic sense to refer to any end of the world scenario. The word Armageddon appears only once in the Greek New Testament, namely in Revelation 16:16. The word may come from Hebrew har məgiddô (הר מגידו), meaning “Mountain of Megiddo”. “Mount” Megiddo is a Tell on which ancient forts were built to guard the main highway, the Via Maris, which connected Ancient Egypt with Mesopotamia. The idea that human beings in biological bodies can travel throughout intergalactic space, raise families on board a space craft, and freely interact with alien life forms is an example of superstition, based in science fiction, conjecture and wishful thinking….

LET’S TRY TO FORGET ABOUT THE HISTORY OF HUMAN SUPERSTITION AND STUPIDITY
AND PRETEND THAT WE HAVE EVOLVED INTO HIGHER STATES OF SUPERSTITION.

A philosopher is someone who practices philosophy, which involves rational inquiry into areas that are outside of either theological dogma or science. The term “philosopher” comes from the Ancient Greek φιλόσοφος (philosophos) meaning “lover of wisdom”. Its origination has been ascribed to the Greek thinker Pythagoras.
In the classical sense, a philosopher was someone who lived according to a certain way of life, focusing on resolving existential questions about the human condition, and not someone who discourses upon theories or comments upon authors. Typically, these particular brands of philosophy are Hellenistic ones and those who most arduously commit themselves to this lifestyle may be considered philosophers.
In a modern sense, a philosopher is an intellectual who has contributed in one or more branches of philosophy, such as aesthetics, ethics, epistemology, logic, metaphysics, social theory, and political philosophy. A philosopher may also be one who worked in the humanities or other sciences which have since split from philosophy proper over the centuries, such as the arts, history, economics, sociology, psychology, linguistics, anthropology, theology, and politics.

“Thought is a force – a manifestation of energy – having a magnet-like power of attraction. You say “I” feel; “I” think; “I” believe; “I” know; “I” will; etc., etc. Now which is the Real Self? The Mental States just mentioned, or the “I” which is the subject or Real Cause of the mental phenomena? It is not the Mind that knows, but the “I” which uses the Mind in order to know. “
