FLASH GORDON in “Planet of Peril!” (1936) SATURDAY NIGHT SERIAL

Republished by Blog Post Promoter

POP UP A BATCH OF POPCORN, KIDDIES, AND SNUGGLE UP ON THE SOFA TO WATCH ALL 13 EPISODES OF THE CLASSIC SCI-FI SERIAL filmed in 1936:  FLASH GORDON (Starring Buster Crabb) encounter with the evil Emperor Ming the Merciless in “The Planet of Peril!” (Remember, this is 1936 when Hitler was rising to power in Fascist Germany and the world was in a economic depression caused by International Bankers.  It was filmed BEFORE the discovery of “RADIOACTIVE ENERGY”, which is mentioned in the film!  Another interesting line of dialogue from this film when the “Emperor of the Universe” his slave-bride to be brainwashed:  “Science can overcome all things — even the human emotions.”

When I was a kid my Mom gave me 10 cents to go see the “Saturday Matinee” in my little town of 2,000 people.  This was really cheap baby-sitting back then.  3 hours of freedom for my Mom and 3 hours of freedom for the kids!  Every week the theater would show black and white “serials” and a cartoon (Bugs Bunny was my favorite) before the featured film started.  Some of the “serials” I remember best were the Science Fiction ones, based on comic strips.  There were two that I love the most:  1) Flash Gordon and 2) Commando Cody.  There were other Western serials, like The Lone Ranger, and Hopalong Cassidy.  But I loved science fiction the best, and still do to this day. This is one of the truly ground-breaking, creative productions of science fiction on film.  If you haven’t seen Flash Gordon, you don’t know what REAL Science Fiction films is about.  Enjoy, Citizens of Earth!!

INVASION FROM THE EAST, AGAIN

Republished by Blog Post Promoter

THE END OF THE WESTERN EMPIRE WAS CAUSED BY EVENTS IN CHINA IN THE FIFTH CENTURY A.D..  IT’S HAPPENING AGAIN….

Oriental people and their cultures are the most ancient on Earth.  The “Eastern” civilization (according to “western historians”) was the primary force behind the collapse of Western civilization, i.e. all civilization west of the Ural Mountains, including The Roman Empire.  When the Huns (nomadic warriors on horseback) were forced out of China they moved into Europe and vanquished everyone they encountered.  The Visigoths were one of the tribes most effected, who in turn, repeatedly invaded and pillaged The Roman Empire, sacked Rome, wiped out the Roman Army and killed the Roman Emperor.

Western Civilization (Europe, The U.S and the British Empire) are the direct descendants of the Roman Empire.

“The People’s Republic of China (PRC), is the world’s most-populous country with a population of over 1.3 billion. The East Asian state covers approximately 9.6 million square kilometres (3.7 million square miles) in total area and is the world’s second-largest country by land area,[14] and the third- or fourth-largest in total area, depending on the definition of total area.

China has become the world’s fastest-growing major economy. As of 2012, it is the world’s second-largest economy, after the United States, by both nominal GDP andpurchasing power parity (PPP) and is also the world’s largest exporter and second-largest importer of goods. Onper capita terms, China ranked 90th by nominal GDP and 91st by GDP (PPP) in 2011, according to the IMF. China is arecognized nuclear weapons state and has the world’s largest standing army, with the second-largest defense budget. In 2003, China became the third nation in the world, after the former Soviet Union and the United States, to independently launch a successful manned space mission.”  (Source:  Wikipedia.org)

The events of history are cyclical.  China, and The Barbarians (International Banks), are at the gates of Western civilization once again.  China’s admission into the World Trade Organization (WTO) in 2001, carried with it requirements for further economic liberalization and deregulation. China’s ongoing economic transformation has had a profound impact not only on China but on the Western world.

“The Migration Period, also known as the Barbarian Invasions, was a period of intensified human migration in Europe from about 400 to 800 CE. It began when the Huns were driven out of the “Far East” by the Chinese.  This period marked the transition from Late Antiquity to the Early Middle Ages. Migrations were catalyzed by profound changes within theRoman Empire and on its “barbarian frontier”. The migrants who came first were Germanic tribes such as the Goths,VandalsLombardsSuebiFrisii and Franks; they were later pushed west by the Huns,The Chinese The Huns may have stimulated the Great Migration, a contributing factor in the collapse of the western Roman Empire. They formed a unified empire under Attila the Hun, who died in 453.  The Barbarian invasions of the fifth century were triggered by the destruction of the Gothic kingdoms by the Huns in 372-375. The city of Rome was captured and looted by the Visigoths in 410 and by the Vandals in 455.”  (Source:  Wikipedia.org)

HUMAN SYMBIOSIS

Republished by Blog Post Promoter

symbiosis

On a tiny, remote planet a Mythology has been conceived and taught that one relatively minor species of life form are “superior” to billions of others with whom they share the planet, and upon whom they depend for sustenance.  Factually, all life forms exist in a perpetual state of interactive interdependency called “symbiosis”.

Symbiosis comes from two Greek words that means “with” and “living.” It describes a close relationship between two organisms from different species. It is sometimes, but not always, beneficial to both parties.  Ironically, the life form that is NOT required for symbiotic survival on Earth, and without which the planet flourished for billions of years, is the species “homo sapiens”.

If insects or bacteria (two small examples) disappeared from Earth, most other species, including homo sapiens, would perish quickly.  However, if homo sapiens became extinct, nearly all other life forms would flourish, and return to a natural state of symbiotic abundance upon which the fragile, parasitic species of homo sapiens depends utterly.  With the exception of a few domesticated animals humans would not be missed on Earth.

It has been observed that the Microcosm (relatively small) is a reflection of the Macrocosm (relatively large) in the physical universe.  Human beings conceive themselves to be the “highest” form of life and most intelligent.  Yet, when viewed in the context of stars, galaxies and universes, homo sapiens are infinitesimally insignificant, except in their own minds.  This begs the question: “Are their beings in the universe for whom humans might provide symbiotic value?   The final scene from the popular film Men In Black offers one example. Do humans exist symbiotically in an existential game played by beings who we make imperceptible by our Narcissistic Mythology?
