Stevie could flat-ass PLAY THE GUITAR!!! What a tragic loss his early death was for all of us. Thank the gods for YouTube videos of his many live performances. Here’s are 3 videos: 1) A gig he played in Italy not long before his death in a helicopter crash at the age of only 35. 2) a great one-on-one interview with Stevie about overcoming his 25 year addiction to drugs and alcohol. 3) Finally, from the Tribute Concert in honor of Stevie’s career after his death and with many of the finest guitarists in the world, as well as vintage performances by Stevie and his band Double Trouble.  This is a CLASSIC concert. You couldn’t make this shit up if you stayed up all night…..
