LET’S PRETEND

When we’re young we run
and play “let’s pretend” to be
anything and everything – just for fun.
Our imagination is the key.
As we grow up we are told
by others who are very serious
That reality is time and space and gold;
that games and visions are delirious.
Life goes on and we agree
what other people think is best:
to play our part in reality
just like them and all the rest.
Every game has a start,
a middle and conclusion.
When the time comes to depart
just make a new illusion!
You are Spirit ! Life Eternal !
You’ll make a future and new friends !
Through your dreams you are immortal;
like children playing “let’s pretend”.

Henry James, OM (15 April 1843 – 28 February 1916) was an American-born British writer. He is regarded as one of the key figures of 19th-century literary realism.

His secretary remarked in her monograph Henry James at Work:   ‘When he walked out of the refuge of his study and into the world and looked around him, he saw a place of torment, where creatures of prey perpetually thrust their claws into the quivering flesh of doomed, defenseless children of light … His novels are a repeated exposure of this wickedness, a reiterated and passionate plea for the fullest freedom of development, unimperiled by reckless and barbarous stupidity.”

the body is a prison of the spirit

Mortality Mechanics' Manual“A human being is the literal embodiment of mortality. The flesh is a prison for the Being. The Earth is a prison for the body: a prison within a prison for a Soul, carefully concealed in Mystery. An object animated by a Soul that thinks that it is the object is the ultimate accomplishment of the trade and technology of The Mortality Mechanic.”

Bios UrnThe Bios Urn project reintroduces the human being to the natural circle of life. It is the profaine ritual of regeneration and the return to nature. Bios is a mortuary urn made from biodegradable materials: coconut shell, compacted peat and cellulose. Inside it contains the seed of a tree. Once the urn is planted, the seed germinates and begins to grow. The seed can be changed for a different type of seed or plant more adequate to the chosen planting place, if need be.
