SIGNS OF YOUR SPIRIT

“SOME DAY YOU MAY BE AS OLD AS I AM. PLEASE TAKE MY ADVICE, AND DON’T WASTE YOUR SHORT LIFE. INVEST YOUR YOUTHFUL VITALITY IN YOUR ART. SHARE THE BEST OF YOUR SPIRIT WITH THE WORLD. YOUR BODY WILL DIE, BUT YOU CANNOT DIE. SO, DON’T WORRY ABOUT PETTY THINGS LIKE BODIES, MONEY AND POSSESSIONS. THEY PASS WITH THE BODY AND ARE MEANINGLESS. DON’T WORRY WHAT ANYONE THINKS OF YOU. DON’T SEEK APPROVAL, EXCEPT FROM YOURSELF.
YOUR ART AND IDEAS ARE SIGNS OF YOUR SPIRIT.
YOUR BEAUTY ENDURES FOREVER, AS DO YOU.”

SHOCKING NEWS!

Are you upset by the stuff you read, hear or see in “the news”?
The most over-used catchword in the mainstream media crusade to castrate your mind and crush you soul is the word “SHOCKING”. The so-called “news” sources search the entire world to find (or make up) the most disgusting, disastrous, tragic examples of war, murder, mayhem, insanity, chaos, crime and destruction. Then they consolidate all of this garbage into very nasty bite-sized text or sound bits so it can be jamming down your dim-witted throat in the micro-seconds of your dismal, drug-impaired attention span!
Guess what, campers? “The News” is intentionally designed to KEEP YOU BEING UPSET.
When you’re upset with life you are more likely to give up, take drugs, be afraid to go outside, and just stay a home and be mentally and physically ill.
What I find to be the most “SHOCKING” thing about “commercial” media (including network and cable TV, radio, the internet, YouTube and Facebook) is the number of people who have already lost their intelligence, discretion, and ability to reason while they’re tuned into it. If you believe ANYTHING you see or hear without investigating the source of the material, you deserve to become a brain-dead zombie.
Before you “believe” anything you see or read, ANSWER THESE FIVE QUESTIONS:
1) WHO IS THE SOURCE OF THE MATERIAL?
(The names of the persons or organizations who wrote, produced and distributed it)
2) WHO PAID FOR IT?
3) WHO WILL PROFIT FROM IT?
4) WHAT IS THE UNWRITTEN or UNSPOKEN “SPIN” OF THE MESSAGE IT CONTAINS?
5) WHAT IS THE INTENDED EFFECT ON ME , THE COMMUNITY, THE COUNTRY and THE WORLD?
