“The Oz Factors” is a book which reveals the 12 common denominators of civilization that prevent mankind for discovering workable solutions to the problems of life. The Oz Factors was written by Lawrence R. Spencer and published in 1999.

HUMAN HISTORY = UNWORKABLE SOLUTIONS

THE OZ FACTORS Audiobook_500“The river of human history  is clogged with the putrid refuse of unworkable solutions to the mysteries and problems of Life: war, ruined civilizations, insanity, mental anguish, drugs, despair, murder, disease, criminality and starvation. We are victims of our individual and collective inability to find workable solutions to these unwanted conditions.  Our humanity has long since been exceeded by the power of the wicked witches of science and government to destroy all life with nuclear weapons, alter our DNA and control our minds with psychotropic drugs and our lives with media lies. The Oz Factors, by Lawrence R. Spencer

Our thoughts and conjectures about life and the universe are often based on assumptions, unproven theories, hearsay, rumors and misinformation.  Decisions we make in life may be based on ancient attitudes and archaic practices.  Marketing spin replaces honesty when the financial, political or religious vested interest of wizards and witches are more important than freedom, sanity and survival.  There are 12 common denominators that  prevent observation, understanding, and workable solutions to problems of existence.  How do each of these “Oz Factors” influence our history, science, philosophy, our lives and our future?”

WHO’S “THEM”?

Republished by Blog Post Promoter

“Who’s them?”–The Lion, asking his companions about the soldiers marching into the fortress of the Wicked Witch of the West in ‘The Wizard of Oz’
Do you know who (which specific person) is the exact source of information you read or hear? Like the Lion, do you ask “who’s them?” before you accept information as being reliably true or false?
Information you read or hear is often from an unspecified source such as “the authorities” or “the experts” or “government sources”.  If the source of the information isn’t precise, it’s worse than worthless.  It may be entirely contrived or purposefully misguiding.
Before you believe what you read in the newspaper do you determine the name of the reporter and the editor who dreamed up the story? Do you take a minute to figure out what their vested interest might be in writing the story? The story could be accurately reported; or it could be a completely fictional, spin-doctored fairy tale. It could be an outright fabrication, an intentionally destructive lie. It could be a paid-for cover-up of a hidden agenda, or merely an advertisement to sell you something.
The point is simple: just make sure the road map of the Yellow Brick Road you saw on television wasn’t drawn by the Wicked Witch of the West before you go skipping off into a deep, dark forest full of Lions and Tigers and Bears and Flying Monkeys!
Our planet is overrun with self-appointed “authorities” on nearly any subject you can imagine. These so-called “authorities” do not have the right to evaluate information or make decisions for you. Movie or art critics are a good example. The only qualification a “critic” has for stating a viewpoint about a movie or work of art is that they are critical. Your viewpoint and opinion of a movie or work of art is the only important viewpoint.
Likewise, just because your mother, the Pope, the President, a psychiatrist (or any other mind-police), a television talk show host, the National Scandal Rag or the Good Witch of the North tells you something is true, doesn’t make it true. Newspapers, television, politicians and preachers are notorious for spewing huge volumes of very convincing false information which serves highly dubious or nefarious purposes. Usually, the only purpose being served is their own.”

99% of MUNCHKINS ARE EXTINCT (Beetles not)

HOW MANY SPECIES OF MUNCHKINS ARE IN THE LAND OF OZ?

“We represent the Lullaby League …”–The Munchkins

“We represent the Lollipop Guild …”–The Munchkins in ‘The Wizard of Oz’

On this planet, there are five major kingdoms of life forms categorized as follows:

1/ Bacteria

2/ One-Celled Organisms

3/ Mushroom, Molds, Fungi

4/ Multi-Cellular Plants

5/ Multi-Cellular Animals

The number of different forms of life–the tremendous variety of life on this planet–is virtually beyond comprehension. Think of how many different kinds of birds you’ve seen. Take a wild guess as to how many species of fish swim in the waters of the world. How many mammals or reptiles might there be, not to mention plants and insects?

Biologists are still trying to count the number of different life organisms on the planet. Consider the probability that an estimated TWO BILLION SPECIES have lived on Earth, of which as many as 99.9 percent are now EXTINCT! So, there probably aren’t that many left, right?

Wrong.

There are still estimated to be about 30,000,000 (thirty million!) different species of organisms still living on Earth. There are estimated to be more than 400,000 species of plants, alone. Do you like bugs? There are more than 1,000,000 species of insects (yes, that’s one million). There are 30,000 different subspecies of spiders! Not to mention the 30,000 species of beetles, 20,000 species of moths and 20,000 species of ants, bees and wasps. Researchers have estimated that for every human being there are one billion insects on Earth!

There are more than 9,000 species of birds, 4,000 species of mammals (1,700 are rodents), 10,000 species of roundworms, 4,000 species of amphibians, 21,000 species of bony fish and 6,000 species of reptiles. Don’t even think about the nearly unfathomable variety of invertebrate life in the oceans. Scientists will be working for a very long time to identify everything that lives in the waters of the world.

That’s just life in the macrocosm of Earth; i.e., just those life forms that we can see easily with the naked eye. How does this apply to the microcosm of relatively invisible animals?

80-beetlesThere are 4,000 known species of bacteria. On the average human body, about 600 million bacteria live on the skin. The skin under your arms carries close to 500,000 bacteria and your forearm is a thriving metropolis that is home to over 12,000 bacteria per square inch! The bacteria population INSIDE your body is too numerous to count.

Then there are all the species of protozoa, algae, fungi and bacteria that eat carbon dioxide and hydrogen and produce methane as a byproduct.

In addition to the vast number of species, consider the fact that each individual cell in any complex organism is, in fact, a separate, distinct life entity. There are about 75 trillion cells in the average human body. The size of a single cell varies from the thickness of a few thousand atoms, to the largest single cell (an ostrich egg), measuring about 20 inches in diameter.

Oz Factors_LULUThe sheer volume and diversity of life forms would seem to defy the probability of any coincidental, circumstantial, accidental or spontaneous development of the unthinkably vast, complex, intricately coordinated, precisely structured, cooperatively balanced, and yet, ingeniously bizarre, incongruously grotesque and downright peculiar variety of life on Earth. (Remember, we aren’t even counting the 99 percent of life forms that USED to live on the planet, which are now extinct!)

In the 150 years since Darwin and others have re-proposed the Theory of Evolution, no one has ever demonstrated it to be true. Not a single one of any of this immense number of species have ever successfully interbred and created a fertile reproductive combination of two different species.

The point is this: Darwin’s theory does not provide us with a workable solution. The missing pieces of the puzzle are still missing, namely: where did man and the other life forms on this planet come from?”

VESTED INTERESTS

“Take special care of those Ruby Slippers. I want those most of all!  — The Wicked Witch of the West in ‘The Wizard of Oz

Definition: Vested Interest

1/ a survival or non-survival plan or agenda which has been “clothed” to make it seem like something other than what it actually is;

2/ any person, group or entity which prevents or controls communication to serve their own purposes.

Example: Governments control communication between the people of their country. You must get a passport to travel to another country. You must pass through a customs’ inspection in order to enter the country. You must pay taxes (money is a form of communication). You must get a license to get married or go into business.

Example: Religions prevent and control communication between people and the gods, saints and spirits. You have to pay the priest money for him to “bless” you or to “absolve” you of “sin” as a supposed representative of the god(s).

Example: A husband usually tries to prevent communication between his wife and other potential lovers.

What would happen if you could safely communicate with everything and everyone?

Political, religious and financial vested interests, typically, DO NOT want people to answer this question. The reason is simple: if you could safely communicate with anyone or anything, they would be out of business!

Such institutions very frequently determine what we are allowed to believe by feeding us their version of “the truth”. Our “belief” in their version of “the truth” is usually backed up by the threat of death, imprisonment, excommunication or bankruptcy.

All human beings have flesh bodies. Flesh bodies require food, shelter, clothing and as many other goods and creature comforts as one can buy, borrow or pillage. This seems to be a common denominator of survival. It is also a source of illogical thinking which has tended to clog the water mains of our minds with all manner of unspeakable refuse: namely, our vested interest in survival.

Survival requires stuff, and stuff costs money and money takes work. This often means that we must each pretend to “like” someone or “believe” in something–that we could actually care less about–for the sake of “earning a living”.”
