Paintings, photography, aesthetic objects, beautiful communication, and anything I consider to be art, artful, artistic, artsy or whatever.
Art is subjective. It is a quality of communication can be contributed to by the viewer through empathy or agreement with its creator.

“There is only one dogma in Magic: The visible is the manifestation of the invisible. The visible bears an exact proportion to the things which are inappreciable by our senses and unseen by our eyes. Above, immensity: Below immensity! Immensity equals immensity. This is true in things seen, as in things unseen.”

I consider Michael Parkes to be the greatest living American artist. I have the privilege of attending his annual exhibition at the Borsini-Burr Gallery near Half-Moon Bay, CA this coming week-end! Michaels’ 69th birthday will be celebrated as part of this show. You can learn more about the fantastic art of Michael Parkes on his official website http://www.theworldofmichaelparkes.com/cm/Home.html
Here is a short video of a similar show Michael presented at this gallery in 2012. Enjoy.
